Program Description:

This program will combine a variety of virtual tools and activities to deliver the information and keep track of your progress. The foundation of the program will be ‘live’ events designed to allow questions, but which are then recorded so participants can listen/view on their own later.

Each lesson will begin with a live 40-45 minute webinar every other week to introduce that session. Each session will offer suggested readings or audio recordings designed to support key learning points. In addition, the session’s ‘homework’ opportunities will also be introduced.

Each lesson will provide at least one homework opportunity for participants to complete. They may complete more if they desire. In between the Lesson Webinars, we will schedule telephone as well as chat room Q&A sessions to keep participants on target. Practical tests will be conducted at various steps along the way to measure applicable skills.

We’ll introduce the concept of SWOT analysis and teach participants how to conduct one for their clinic. In addition, we’ll outline the process for conducting a competitive scan, as well as a patient satisfaction survey. This session will build on what you learned in session one and explore a variety of communications tools and the appropriate messaging utilization for each. Participants will be given the opportunity to learn how to use and apply proven marketing principles to marketing tools such as flyers, postcards, advertising, audio messaging, and power point presentations.

Tasks: Each participant will be required to conduct a major communications task, based on their clinic situation and their previous marketing experience.

3. The Three R’s

Tasks: Prepare and conduct patient education session, plan referral plan, make retention calls, make reactivation calls, try reactivation letter.

4.    Events

In this session, we’ll take a look at Internal events, come to understand the true value of events, compare current clinic event attitudes and efforts, and outline an internal event plan for the clinic.

Tasks: Participants will be asked to plan one major and one medium event, and to hold one ‘referral’ event, either minor or medium.

5.    Technology

This session will provide an overview of the latest ‘best practices’ in terms of Internet marketing. Participants will gain a thorough understanding of the principles of e-marketing, including websites, Google places, social media, and e-newsletters.
